The upcoming K-drama series The 8 Show is all set to premiere on Netflix. South Korean director Han Jae-Rim serves as the director of the new show. He is best known for directing several renowned movies and TV series like The King and The Face Reader.
Netflix recently dropped a new post for The 8 Show on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The post features the main cast members of the upcoming K-drama, including Ryu Jun-Yeol, Park Jeong-Min, Chun Woo-Hee, and Moon Jeong-Hee.

The 8 Show is expected to debut sometime next year on Netflix. The aforementioned Instagram post by Netflix Korea revealed all the eight main casts of the upcoming series. The star-studded cast list includes Ryu Jun-Yeol, Lee Yul-Eum, Chun Woo-Hee, Park Hae-Joon, Moon Jeong-Hee, Park Jeong-Min, Lee Zoo-Young, and Bae Seong-Woo.
The upcoming series will feature a unique concept. Eight different individuals who need money will be confined in mystery rooms on eight different floors of a building. They have to stay inside the rooms in order to earn a large sum of money. The longer they manage to stay in the room, the more money they will end up earning.
However, the rooms only have concrete walls. If the participants can successfully stay there for 100 days, they will win 44.8 billion won collectively, which they can divide the winning prize equally among each other. However, they have to face different levels of difficulty to win the grand prize. As such, the events in The 8 Show will unfold as these eight individuals participate in this exciting but risky challenges.
The 8 Show will be available for streaming on Netflix.
