Park Ji-Hoon’s Love Song for Illusion Poster Teases a Heartbreaking Separation

The upcoming period fantasy-romance K-drama series, Love Song for Illusion, is all set to make its arrival in January 2024, on KBS2. The new Korean series is an adaptation of the Naver webtoon of the same title by Vanziun. Yoon Kyung-Ah is the writer of the KBS K-drama, while Lee Jung-Seop is the director.

Acclaimed South Korean actors Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji star as the lead pair in the series as Sajo Hyun/Ak-hee and Yeon Wol, respectively. KBS Drama has dropped a brand new poster for Love Song for Illusion on their social media, on November 29, 2023. The poster suggests a tragic separation between Park Ji-Hoon’s Sajo Hyun/Ak-hee and Hong Ye-Ji’s Yeon Wol.

In the newly launched poster for KBS’ upcoming fantasy K-drama series, Love Song for Illusion, Hong Ye-Ji and Park Ji-Hoon characters are standing in front of each other, while keeping a good distance between them. They are standing on a stone bridge over water on a gloomy and half-moon-lit night.

The poster suggests that the two lead characters seem conflicted about their romantic feelings for one another. It also hints at a heartbreaking separation of the two, guided by the mischief of their memory and fate. Thus, by the look of it, it is quite evident that the upcoming series will take viewers on an emotionally gripping journey.

Besides Hong Ye-Ji and Park Ji-Hoon as the lead pair, the cast list for Love Song for Illusion also includes Hwang Hee, Kim Dong-Won, Ji Woo, Kim Tae-Woo, and Woo Hyun, among others. Don’t forget to watch the new K-drama to debut on KBS2, in January 2024.
