Love Song for Illusion Poster Teases Park Ji-Hoon, Hong Ye-Ji’s Chemistry

Love Song for Illusion is an upcoming fantasy-romance period K-drama series, that will premiere in January 2024, on KBS2. The series is an adaptation of Vanziun’s popular Naver webtoon of the same title. Well-known South Korean actors Hong Ye-Ji and Park Ji-Hoon star as the lead pair in the KBS original series.

The series also features Hwang Hee, Ji Woo, Kim Dong-Won, Woo Hyun, Kim Tae-Woo and several others as supporting cast. KBS has recently released a brand new poster for Love Song for Illusion featuring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji. The poster showcases intense and quite alluring chemistry between the two actors as they have come closer.

Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji come closer in new Love Song for Illusion poster

In the newly dropped poster for Love Song for Illusion, Park Ji-Hoon’s character Sajo Hyun aka Ak-Hee and Hong Ye-Ji’s character Yeon Wol are seen to have come close to each other. The actors project undeniable chemistry between their respective characters.

As disclosed by KBS, the upcoming series chronicles the fierce love story of a man with two absolutely opposite personalities, namely Sajo Hyun and Ak-Hee and a woman named Yeon Wol with a dark past. The man’s first personality Sajo Hyun is a multi-talented and extremely intelligent crown prince. He hides his real identity from the world by working as a fashion designer at a small downtown boutique.

His other personality, Ak-Hee is a charismatic man who has been cursed to feel immense pain when anybody touches him. On the other hand, the woman named Yeon Wol is the only daughter of Yeon Pung-hak and the royal descendant of a fallen dynasty named Yeon. Later on, she becomes a fearless assassin called Gye-ra. Thus, it will be quite intriguing to see how the love story between the two in Love Song for Illusion will turn out.
