Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming K-drama Gyeongseong Creature, featuring Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee as leads. The series is set in the dark period of 1945 Korea when the country was under the Japanese colonial rule. The drama tells the story of an entrepreneur and a private detective who collaborate to fight for survival. They also embark on a mission of uncovering secrets they have been looking for.
Gyeongseong Creature is based on the Line webtoon of the same name. In the trailer, both Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee try to complete their missions while fighting a terrifying battle for survival. The trailer also teases bloodshed, fights, weaponry and a lot of drama. The first part of the drama is set to premiere on December 22, 2023, while the second part will air on January 5, 2024.
Gyeongseong Creature trailer: Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee’s search leads them to a suspicious hospital
The trailer begins with an introduction of Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee’s character. The former plays Jang Tae-Sang, Gyeongseong’s most wealthy man and the owner of a pawn shop. Meanwhile, Han So-Hee essays the role of Yoon Chae-Ok, a private detective who specializes in finding missing people. She is even known to find dead people. The duo initially has a rough start, as the trailer shows them pointing their guns towards each other. Moreover, both have their own individual missions.
As per Soompi, Tae-Sang is asked to look for Ishikawa’s beloved mistress. However, he must do so until the fall of cherry blossoms or he would risk losing everything he has and the empire he has built. Meanwhile, Han So-Hee is in search for someone close to her, possibly her mother. The two join forces while looking for the people they wish to find, which eventually leads them to the suspicious Ongseong Hospital.
The trailer proceeds to document their journey inside the hospital. The two, alongside other characters, battle strange creatures, evil humans, and more as they discover many secrets that lie within the place. Weapons, bloodshed, and intense fight scenes make up the rest of the sneak peak, promising a rough but eventful ride for viewers.
