Sweet Home 2, the highly awaited second season of the hit apocalyptic thriller K-drama series, is all set to make its debut on Netflix in December 2023. The series is an adaptation of Hwang Young-Chan and Kim Carnby’s highly celebrated Naver webtoon of the same title. Popular South Korean actor Song Kang reprises his lead role as Cha Hyun-Soo in season 2.

The freshly released photos of Sweet Home 2 by Netflix showcase glimpses of an upcoming massive battle between the human and the monster. They also give viewers hints about what else they can expect to come their way in the new season. It seems like Song Kang’s Cha Hyun-Soo will find himself fighting till the very end to stop the bloodshed.
The photos also indicate that the residents of the green home will end up on the battlefield on a new turf. They will be seen battling it out for their survival. It also looks like the monsters have evolved with time. Thus, it will be quite interesting to see who will survive in the upcoming season of the Netflix series.
Sweet Home 2 release date, cast, episodes & more
Season 2 of the horror-thriller K-drama series Sweet Home will premiere exclusively on Netflix, on Friday, December 1, 2023. Kim Hyung-Min, Hong So-Ri, and Park So-Jung have served as the writers of the series, while Jang Young-Woo, Lee Eung-Bok, and Park So-Hyun have directed it. Although the first season had a total of 10 episodes, the new season will only have 8 episodes collectively.
Besides Song Kang, the lead cast list also includes Lee Jin-Wook as Pyeon Sang-Wook, Lee Si-Young as Seo Yi-Kyung, Park Gyu-Young as Yoon Ji-Soo, and Go Min-Si as Lee Eun-Yoo, among others.
