Moon in the Day episode 6 released on Thursday, November 16, 2023, showing an interesting development in the plot. Starring Kim Young-Dae and Pyo Ye-Jin, the K-drama is a tragic love story.
Kim Young-Dae plays the role of a lost soul named Do Ha who died 1,500 years ago but couldn’t find peace. He becomes a vengeful spirit and possesses the body of Jun-Oh, his look-alike, in the present time. Pyo Ye-Jin essays the roles of Ha Ri-Ta, Do Ha’s enemy turned lover from Silla, and the present time’s Kang Young-Hwa.
Episode 6 continued from where the previous installment ended. Jun-Oh faints, and Young-Hwa tries to revive him but sees Do Ha’s spirit coming out of Jun-Oh’s body. As it is, the moment is near when he will tell her the truth.
Moon in the Day episode 6 ending: Young-Hwa was married to Do Ha in past life
Pyo Ye-Jin’s Young-Hwa is startled after seeing Do Ha’s (Kim Young-Dae) spirit at the beginning of Moon in the Day episode 6. Young-Hwa continues to dream about Ha Ri-Ta and Do Ha. However, she struggles to accept that the dreams are her past life moments.
She visits the temple where she once received her talisman. The senior monk tells her that he didn’t make the talisman. In one of the scenes, Young-Hwa gets drunk and tells Do Ha (in Jun-Oh’s body) about her dreams. Later, when they meet, he points out that he told her the truth but she doesn’t remember.
Meanwhile, the flashbacks show Do Ha’s father punishes Ri-Ta. For the first time, he goes against his duties and saves Ri-Ta, requesting her to stay alive. Back to the present time, Young-Hwa remembers that Do Ha told her that he possesses Jun-Oh’s body. The two meet on a bridge where Young-Dae‘s Do Ha shows off his powers. He then tries to convince her that he is a lost soul.
Young-Hwa struggles to believe him. The episode ends with Do Ha saying, “I want to know how I died. Only you can [help], Kang Young-Hwa. Because you were my wife.” Following this, their wedding flashback is shown and it is revealed that Do Ha only gave the talisman beads to Ri-Ta.
