On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the OTT platform announced that the popular game show is coming back with an even interesting format for season 2. The show brought together 12 celebrities from various fields to compete against each other in a game of wit, strategy, and skills.
The chosen celebrities for The Devil’s Plan will be staying together for over a week, where they will not only be participating in challenges but also strategize, form smart alliances, and potentially betray each other to keep moving forward in the competition. The Devil Plan returns for season 2 on Netflix after global success
Owing to the success and popularity of the first season, Netflix brings back The Devil’s Plan for another season. The show brought 12 celebrities together, including a professional gamer, K-pop artist, YouTuber, actors, lawyer, doctor, student, and more. According to Netflix, the show rose to the Top 10 TV series list in South Korea. It also landed in the Top 10 list in 23 countries. Besides, The Devil’s Plan ranked number 3 in the Top 10 TV Shows (non-English).
This suggests that the series is loved by a global audience, adding the already existing Korean entertainment with game show content. Jeong Jong-Yeon is the producer of the show and has helmed successful shows like The Great Escape and The Genius.
The Devil’s Plan brings a set of celebrities under one roof. Over the course of the show, these stars use smart strategies to collaborate and form alliances.
