Kim Young-Dae’s Moon in the Day is set to premiere on Wednesday and thus a few Episode 1 photos have been released. Also starring Pyo Ye-Jin, this K-drama is a tragic love story.
The lead cast plays dual roles from past and present, respectively. Set in the Silla Dynasty, Han Ri-Ta and Do Ha fall in love but the former kills him. After 1,500 years, she is reborn as Kang Young-Hwa while Han Jun-Oh is a big actor. Post an accident, Do Ha’s spirit possesses Jun-Oh, and now he seeks revenge from Ri-Ta’s reincarnation.

Moon in the Day Episode 1 release date, time & cast
Moon in the Day Episode 1 is all set to premiere on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 9.00 p.m. KST on ENA. New episodes will also be available to stream on Viki with subtitles. It may also be released on Netflix but in a few regions.
The main cast members of this show include Kim Young-Dae (Extraordinary You), Pyo Ye-Jin (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim), and On Joo-Wan (Beautiful Gong Shim). Apart from them, the other actors are Jung Heon (No Matter What), Lee Joon-Hyuk (100 Days My Prince), Jung Woong-In (Prison Playbook), Jung Shin-Hye (I Love You, Loser), and Bae Eun-Young (Racket Boys).
The network recently released a few photo stills from episode 1. The first two pictures show Do Ha as a general of Villa covered in blood stains and Ri-Ta staring at him in the crowd with tears and anger in her eyes. The story behind their pain is that Do Ha executes Ri-Ta’s family in the war.
The next two stills feature firefighter Young-Hwa and actor Jun-Oh. They meet while filming a public service advertisement. The latest teaser features their banter after their first encounter in the present time.
The time-slip K-drama will air new episodes on Wednesdays on ENA.
