A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 3 Recap: Cha Eun-woo’s Korean Drama Hints at Trouble

Episode 3 of A Good Day To Be a Dog, starring Cha Eun-woo and Park Gyu-young, was aired on Wednesday. In this episode, Han Hae-na lands in an awkward situation after Jin Seo-won finds her in his nephew Choi Yul’s bedroom.

Episode 3 begins with Seo-won confronting Hae-na and Yul, asking why a teacher spent a night at her student’s room. Hae-na gestures to Yul not to tell the truth about her turning into a dog at midnight, and that he brought her (in canine form) to his home. The two lie to Seo-won, saying that she was drunk and Yul didn’t know her address.

In this episode, Seo-won and Hae-na’s misunderstandings come to an end. However, Lee Bo-gyeom (Lee Hyun-woo) is seen as mysterious, raising suspicions and hinting at trouble.

Cha Eun-woo’s A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 3 ending explained

Apart from Seo-won and Hae-na getting closer, A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 3 also highlights Bo-Gyeom’s suspicious behavior. He tries to bring the lead characters together more than once in the latest episode.

Flashback from the past life keeps appearing in between scenes to suggest that the three are connected from the beginning. Bo-Gyeom seems to be aware of his past life as he reminisces about his time with a woman, leaving viewers curious. One of the scenes features Seo-won commenting on Bo-Gyeom staying in an open park in his trailer and drinking from an antique cup. Then, the latter goes to a basement full of unique vintage items.

The scenes from the past life also include Seo-won and Hae-na where the former is protecting her with his life. In the present life, Hae-na knows about Seo-won’s secret that he is afraid of dogs. And, she discreetly helps him when a colleague’s dog comes to work. As Seo-won discovers that she knows his truth, Cha Eun-woo’s song Jealousy starts playing in the background. Meanwhile, he gazes at Hae-na to indicate that he likes her.

In the end, Seo-won and Hae-na share a heart-fluttering moment as he opens up a yellow umbrella and moves closer to her. Viewers can expect more swoon-worthy scenes between them in the next episode.

A Good Day To Be a Dog airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. KST on MBC and Viki.
