The ongoing K-drama Strong Girl Nam-soon’s recent episodes bagged good numbers due to the cameo of Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young. As the Netflix series is a spin-off to 2017’s Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, the OG lead pair made a brief appearance in Episode 3.
Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young played Ahn Min Hyuk and Do Bong Soon in the original series. In Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, the titular character’s family had superhuman power.
In Strong Girl Nam-soon, lead star Gang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) is the cousin of Bong-soon and thus inherits the same power. Meanwhile, fans are thrilled as their wish of seeing the iconic pair — Hyung-sik and Bo-young — came true in last week’s episode. A behind-the-scenes video featured the chemistry between the two while filming their cameo.

They are the OG lead pair, who won hearts with their chemistry in the 2017 Korean drama, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon.
In the BTS video, their characters Ahn Min Hyuk (aka Min-Min) and Do Bong Soon (aka Bong-Bong) recreate the perfect aegyo segment and Min-hyuk’s signature pose as he enters the police station. It also shows them bursting into laughter and enjoying filming their cameos. The clip ends with the two taking selfies and sharing their experience about reliving their characters.
