The Worst of Evil aired two episodes on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and documented intense drama, action, and emotion. The Disney Plus K-drama follows the story of Park Jun-mo (Ji Chang-wook), a police detective who goes undercover to join an evil gang organization and track down the drug cartel, led by mafia boss Jung Gi-cheul (Wi Ha-joon).
This week’s episodes saw Park Jun-mo, his wife Yoo Eui-jung (Im Se-mi), and Jung Gi-cheul make decisions, which are ultimately bound to jeopardize their relationship. Jun-mo became intimate with Hae-ryeon (BIBI) to uncover a drug deal. Meanwhile, Eui-jung used her emotional card with Gi-cheul. Knowing that she was Gi-cheul’s first love, Eui-jung gets inside the gang to help her husband Jun-mo.

Episodes 8 & 9 of The Worst of Evil gave viewers a glimpse into the journey of Park Jun-mo (Ji Chang-wook) and Yoo Eui-jung (Im Se-mi) as a couple before the duo gets into undercover investigative work. Their relationship hits a rough path after both became part of the same investigation. Despite the rough patch, they are determined to protect each other.
To help her husband Park Jun-mo with the investigation, Yoo Eui-jung decides to use Jung Gi-cheul to her benefit all while knowing that he is still in love with her. She falsely promises to stay with him under the premise that she still loves him. Gi-cheul falls into the trap and kisses her.
Meanwhile, in order to get a deal, Park Jun-mo gets intimate with Hae-ryeon. After he receives news that Jaegeon Group is out to get Gi-cheul, Jun-mo decides to fight, leading to a bloodshed war-like situation. In that moment, Jun-mo, filled with blood on his face, shares an intense eye contact with his wife Eui-jong, which perfectly depicts the downfall of their relationship.
The Worst of Evil has a total of 12 episodes, with new episodes airing every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
