Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 12: How Much Did Shraddha Kapoor’s Movie Earn?

Shraddha Kapoor‘s Stree 2 continues to perform strongly at the box office as it entered its second week. On its 12th day of release, the horror-comedy sequel earned an estimated $2 million, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. While this figure indicates a drop compared to earlier days, the film remains a major success.

Stree 2 box office collection day 7: Shraddha Kapoor’s movie becomes the second highest-grossing movie of 2024

Despite a noticeable decline in collections on its second Monday, Stree 2 has been a massive hit. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, the film has raked in impressive numbers since its release. The drop on Day 12 was sharper than anticipated, reflecting a typical post-holiday adjustment. Nevertheless, the film’s performance is noteworthy given its recent historic achievements.

The sequel to the 2018 hit Stree surpassed expectations and records. Within just 11 days, Stree 2 grossed $66.7 million worldwide. In India alone, the film’s net collection reached $47.8 million. These figures make it the second highest-grossing film of 2024, trailing only behind the year’s major blockbusters like Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter.

In its first week, Stree 2 collected $34.7 million net. The film saw a gradual increase in collections during its second week, earning $2 million on Friday, $3.9 million on Saturday, and $5 million on Sunday. By the end of Day 12, the total net collection stands at $47.8 million with a 29.02% occupation rate.

With September offering a relatively calm run at the box office, Stree 2 has the potential for a sustained run. Upcoming releases such as Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra, Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, and Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders may pose some competition. However, for now, Shraddha Kapoor’s movie benefits from a quieter schedule.
