As the web series has received a lot of appreciation from the viewers, fans are wondering if there would be a Pill season 2.
The official synopsis of the web series reads, “Pill unravels the deep-set rot in the Indian pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Prakash along with three whistle-blowers faces a powerful pharma giant Forever Cure to expose the corrupt nexus of pharma, middlemen, and doctors through which a pill reaches the common man. Will the good be able to overcome the evil?”

The first season of Pill ends with Dr. Prakash and his team unraveling the dirty secrets of Forever Cure Pharma. They succeed in stopping the company from launching their new cancer medicine on the market. As they also won the case against the pharmaceutical giant, the court ordered the company to retract all their medicines from the market.
So far, the makers of Pill have not revealed if there will be a Pill season 2. However, Riteish Deshmukh’s actress wife, Genelia D’Souza, hinted that the web series will move forward with another season. Sharing her review of the show via Instagram stories, she wrote, “Generally I’m a kind of girl who just doesn’t binge watch. It has to be exceptional for me to stay up late and binge watch a series, but Pill was something else.” The actress further praised the entire team of Pill and added, “Truly truly special. Well Done team Pill. Can’t wait for Season 2.”
Riteish Deshmukh reshared the story with a heart sticker. However, he did not reveal whether a new season is on the cards.
Now, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited, as it would reveal what Dr. Prakash and his teammates do next for the society.
