By Sunday, the film’s earnings grew by another 7.32%, reaching $1.3 million for the day. This brought the film’s total India net collection to $3.5 million over the weekend, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. Furthermore, the worldwide box office collection for Bad Newz now stands at an impressive $5.8 million.
The strong box office performance of Bad Newz has placed it as the sixth-largest first-weekend earner of the year for a Hindi film.
