The Telugu action drama Saindhav is gearing up for its Hindi dub digital release. While the film has been available on digital platforms, fans were disappointed by the absence of a Hindi dub. Recently, the makers revealed that the Saindhav Hindi dub will soon have its world premiere on two platforms.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Saindhav hit the big screens on January 13, 2024, coinciding with the Sankranti festival. Notably, this film marks Venkatesh’s 75th film as a lead actor. The film centers around a single parent, Saindhav, who lives peacefully with his daughter. His life takes a drastic turn when he discovers that his daughter has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. For her treatment, Saidhav requires $2 million.
To arrange such a substantial amount, Saindhav re-enters the world of crime. However, this leads to clashes with his past rivals in his quest to save his daughter. Despite the film’s blend of emotional depth and action, Saindhav was unable to perform well at the box office.
The film stars Venkatesh as Saindhav Koneru aka SaiKO, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Vikas Malik, and Arya as Manas, among others.
Saindhav release date: When will Hindi dub be released on JioCinema?
Almost five months after its theatrical release, Saindhav’s makers have finally scheduled the film’s Hindi dub. The streaming giant Jio Cinema has secured its Hindi OTT rights and scheduled its premiere for June 23, 2024. Additionally, the makers have set Saindhav for its world television premiere on the same day on Colors Cineplex. Currently, Saindhav is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu with English subtitles.
In terms of box office collection, Saindhav earned around $454,407 on its opening day. However, on day two, the collection showed a slight decline of 25%, amounting to $340,808. This brings its overall first-week collection to $1.6 million.
