However, it is clear that her father, actor-politician, Shatrughan Sinha will grace his daughter’s wedding.
Recently, reports claimed that Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding is being opposed by her mother, Poonam Sinha, and brother, Luv Sinha. Moreover, they have allegedly unfollowed the actress on Instagram.

Sonakshi Sinha shares a close bond with her father, Shatrughan Sinha. Therefore, in a recent interview with TimesNow, the actor-politician extended his support to his daughter’s wedding. Dismissing rumors about a certain feud between them, Sinha said, “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter, Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
He further revealed that he has been extremely busy with his political work in Delhi. Shatrughan Sinha added, “The very fact that I have still been in Mumbai conveys that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but as her real kavach (armor) as well.”
Shatrughan Sinha further slammed those who were spreading rumors about Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding. “Those who are coming out with fake news are just sounding very frustrated with this joyous occasion as they are spreading nothing but lies. I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.”
