Telugu star Allu Arjun has a number of movies lined up in his kitty. While the actor’s most awaited movie is Pushpa 2: The Rule, he has also signed another project with Jawan director Atlee. As the director is currently working on the movie, a new report has claimed that the Telugu star has been replaced by none other than Salman Khan.
Following the massive success of Shah Rukh Khan-led Jawan, all eyes are on Atlee’s next movie, tentatively titled A6. However, several reports claim that his collaboration with Allu Arjun has been shelved due to remuneration issues. The movie’s producers allegedly felt that Atlee’s remuneration was gigantic and left the project.
Salman Khan likely to join the cast of Jawan director Atlee’s next movie
According to a report by Mid-Day, Atlee has approached Bollywood star Salman Khan for his upcoming movie. The discussions are currently in the initial stages and the director is allegedly planning on rolling the film in the first half of next year.
Allegedly, the team is hoping that Salman Khan would be fine with Atlee’s increased remuneration after the blockbuster Jawan. He is reportedly charging a whopping $9.59 million to helm the movie.
The report also claimed that Allu Arjun and Atlee are not bitter, even though their collaboration did not materialize.
On the work front, Salman Khan already has a number of movies in the pipeline. He will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ next Sikandar. His other upcoming projects are Kick 2, The Bull, and more.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has been delayed till December 2024. Besides the awaited film, he also has a project with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He has also signed a film with Trivikram.
