Celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli recently announced the animated series Baahubali: Crown Of Blood. After fueling fans’ excitement about the new project in the Prabhas-led Baahubali franchise, he has finally unveiled the official trailer of the upcoming series. Filled with action and drama, its trailer has taken the internet by storm. Moreover, Rajamouli also unveiled the series’ release date.
Baahubali: Crown Of Blood tells the untold story of the princes of Mahishmati. The trailer begins with the introduction of the era on which it is based. Before Bhalaldev turned rebellious against Amarendra Baahubali, they fought a revolutionary battle.
Raktadev, an undefeatable villain set his eyes on Mahishmati, he aims to erase its traces from history. In a turn of events, Kattappa is also against the kingdom, and this twist has left the audience surprised.
Now, to defeat Raktadev, Baahubali asks Bhalaldev to get together. The trailer then follows several action sequences along with a lot of drama.
When will Baahubali: Crown Of Blood be released?
Along with the upcoming series’ trailer, its makers also announced its official release date. Baahubali: Crown Of Blood will arrive on DisneyPlus Hotstar on May 17. Fans are seemingly excited about the project and eagerly waiting to catch it.
Sharing the official trailer, the filmmaker wrote, “Mahishmati ke khoon se likhi ek nayi kahani (A new story written by the blood of Mahishmati) Hotstar Specials S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali : Crown of Blood streaming from 17th May.”
A fan reacted to the trailer and wrote, “I am very curious to see this series. And the best part is that the same artists who dubbed the original Baahubali movie in Hindi have given their voices in this series.” Another Instagram user penned, “The most interesting and versatile character in Baahubali is Kattapa.” Many also mentioned that it is Kattapa because of whom Baahubali stories get twists and turns.
What makes the new animated series even more interesting is that Rajamouli brought back the original cast and dubbing artists of Baahubali. In the film franchise, Prabhas played the dual role of Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali, while Rana Daggubati’s Bhalaldev was the lead antagonist.
