SS Rajamouli has finally announced another project and it is related to Baahubali titled Baahubali: Crown of Blood. The celebrated filmmaker has ventured into another animated project. What has made the project more interesting is that the writer-director is bringing back the story of Baahubali and the people of Mahishmati. Moreover, the trailer for the awaited series will be out soon.
The first film in the franchise came out in 2015 and changed the dynamics of Indian cinema. It became such a huge phenomenon among netizens that it even began an internet trend. Following the massive response to the movie, Baahubali: The Conclusion became an even bigger success worldwide.
Baahubali: Crown Of Blood teaser to release soon
SS Rajamouli recently took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to drop an announcement about a new project. Sharing a title teaser, the director revealed that the animated series’s trailer will be released soon.
He wrote, “When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Baahubali: Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!”
The announcement about another animated project has come after Rajamouli’s visit to Japan. While there, he also met with anime experts and understood the process of making the Japanese animated series.
Sharing a picture with them, the director wrote, “I was always curious about the process and making of fantastic Japanese anime. Thank you, Rui Kuroki-san and Kazuto Nakazawa-san, for the wonderful time. Thoroughly enjoyed our creative discussions.” He ended his note with “Looking forward…” hinting at a new project.
In 2017, Rajamouli created Baahubali: The Lost Legends. A prequel to the animated series was also set to be made, but the project was shelved. Now, all eyes are on Baahubali: Crown Of Blood.
