Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, will finally be released on Netflix soon. Early reviews by celebrities suggest it will exceed all expectations. The excitement surrounding the series reached its peak on Wednesday when Netflix India hosted a star-studded premiere. It was attended by celebrities such as Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Rekha, and Genelia Deshmukh, among others, who left rave reviews for the upcoming series.

At the forefront is Genelia Deshmukh, who took to her Instagram stories to share her review. She gushed, “Just saw 2 episodes of Heeramandi, and it has me craving for more. In an Instagram post shared by Netflix, several celebrities, from Vicky Kaushal to Alia Bhatt, shared their impressions of the upcoming series. Vicky Kaushal, mesmerized by the series, remarked, “Loved every song, every visual, and it’s not just the visual of it.” Adding to the chorus, Ali Fazal emphasized, “Work that goes in on that set is something I think every actor should go through once in their lifetime.”
Meanwhile, other stars like Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, and Sonakshi Sinha offered quirky responses when asked what they would steal from the sets, ranging from the director himself to the upholstery and even the roles.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is expected to be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, promising to be most ambitious project of 2024. It features a stellar cast of Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and many more. The series will be available to stream from May 1, 2024.
