The latest survival drama, Manjummel Boys, became one of the most successful movies in the Malayalam cinema. Directed by Chidambaram, the movie is based on a true incident from 2006. After leaving the Malayalam audience in awe of its theme, the film was dubbed into Telugu and released in the theaters. Now, all eyes are on the movie’s Hindi version as the audience is eager to know if the film is being dubbed in more languages.
Manjummel Boys follows the story of a group of friends from Kerala who visit the infamous Guna Caves in Tamil Nadu. As one of them tries to carve their group’s name on a rock, he falls deep down the cave. Despite several efforts, the entire group fails to rescue their friend. As a result, one of the men in the group risks his own life to save his pal.
Apart from the survival, the movie is the epitome of friendship. Soubin Shahir, who also produced the film under the Parava Films banner, plays a crucial role. Sreenath Bhasi, Ganapathi, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Jean Paul Lal, and more also starred in the movie.
Where will Manjummel Boys’ Hindi version release?
After a fantastic long run in the theaters, Manjummel Boys is all set for its digital debut. The movie’s release date has yet to be disclosed. However, Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the streaming rights. In the latest announcement, the OTT platform confirmed that the movie will arrive in five languages: Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
As the Hindi version of the film was not confirmed prior, the audience was surprised to learn about the version.
As per reports, Manjummel Boys is expected to arrive on the OTT service by May 3, 2024. However, an official announcement to confirm the release date is awaited.
