Filmmaker Prasanth Varma’s latest fantasy superhero movie, HanuMan, took the country by storm. Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, the film became a massive success at the box office. While the viewers enjoyed the story based on Indian mythology, its end confirmed a sequel titled Jai Hanuman. As fans await more updates on the upcoming film, the director recently teased some details with a new poster.
Prasanth Varma teases Jai Hanuman details with new poster
On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Prasanth Varma recently dropped a new poster of Jai Hanuman. He teased several details with the latest visual, which featured a fire-breathing dragon. Lord Hanuman could be seen standing amid the mountains, facing an evil dragon.
Along with the poster, he wrote, “On this auspicious #HanumanJanmotsav , May we all stand against all the adversities and emerge victorious.” The director further announced that the upcoming movie is being made in 3D and penned, “Experience the epitome of Lord #Hanuman ji‘s EPIC BATTLES in IMAX 3D.”
For the unversed, Jai Hanuman is a part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, while HanuMan was its inception. It aims to include six movies in the first phase of the universe.
Earlier this year, Prasanth Varma teased details about Jai Hanuman and its plot. In an interview with Film Companion, the director revealed the upcoming movie will feature the story of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman. He wrote, “In the second film, you will see more of Hanuman on screen. He will be the lead in that. Teja Sajja’s character will also be there but the story is about the promise Hanuman made to Lord Ram.”
So far, several discussions around Jai Hanuman’s cast have come up. While KGF actor Yash’s name made rounds for the role of Lord Hanuman, Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu were also rumored to be a part of the movie. However, an official announcement regarding the movie’s cast has yet to be made.
