What was the convoy carrying?
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan begins with a convoy of army vehicles going somewhere. In the background, India’s military situation is shown in the light. Pakistan and China have always been targeting India, and India needs to build up its defence. It is revealed that the vehicles are carrying a dangerous weapon which will help India fight two wars at the same if need be.
However, the convoy was caught in a carefully planned ambush, leading to the loss of soldiers assigned to guard it. The perpetrator is a masked man who stole the box after the ambush. He also quickly took advantage of the situation and sent a frightening message to the Indian army. In the message, he said that he would destroy India now that he had the most powerful weapon.
The army tries to track the perpetrator, but to no avail. However, they are able to track the box through GPS and pin its location to London. Colonel Azad suggests to the high command of the Indian Army that only two officials, Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan, can rescue the box and save the nation.
Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan are court-martialed soldiers, Firoz (Freddy) and Rakesh (Rocky). The movie then moves back eight years, when Freddy, Rocky and Colonel Azad meet at the Afghanistan border. Colonel enlists them to go inside the country and save Indian hostages from a terrorist organisation.
What did Colonel Azad ask Captain Misha?
Back in the present day, Colonel Azad tells Misha, a captain in the Indian Army, that Freddy and Rocky are his best soldiers. Colonel asks Misha to find Freddy and Rocky for the mission. Misha finds the pair and convinces them to join her for the mission. Rocky immediately agrees to join her, but Freddy declines.
Misha and Rocky leave for London and connect with Parminder, an IT Specialist nicknamed Pam, who’s tasked to aid them. Azad also reaches London but falls victim to a gunshot from the masked man.
Meanwhile, Misha, Rocky and Pam enters a vault to recover the stolen weapon but they are attacked by a group of men. Fight ensues between Rocky and another masked man and Rocky is gets a upper hand. However, the masked man’s wounds are magically recovered and he is about to kill Rocky and his comrades. Freddy makes a timely entry and kills all the goons. With the help of Pam, the team enters the fault only to find a woman named Priya captured.
What was Karan Kavach?
Priya explains to the team that she was the weapon which was being protected. In order to protect India from outside threats, the intelligence officials created a highly advanced defence system called Karan Kavach.
Karan Kavach’s data had to be kept securely hence the army decided to encrypt the codes into Priya’s brain. Meanwhile, the masked man reappears and after a rigorous fight, he captures Rocky, Freddy and everyone else.
It is then revealed that the masked man is Kabir who used to be friends with Rocky and Freddy. Furthermore, it’s revealed that the previously seemingly invincible masked henchmen are none other than clones of Freddy and Rocky.
Kabir goes on to explain why he stole the box from Indian army. Seven years back, Kabir was an industrialist who supplied weapons to the Indian army. Kabir proposes a project to the Indian army called Soldier X.
Soldier X was a cloning program based on DNA of Indian Soldiers. The clones would be too powerful and almost invincible which will help the army to win war against any nation. However, his project is not approved by the army and this hurts Kabir’s ego.
Feeling betrayed, Kabir wanted to sell the invention to India’s enemies. Upon learning of the scheme, Priya alerted the team, prompting orders for Freddy and Rocky to shut the program and apprehend Kabir alive. However, in the chase the duo accidentally kills Kabir, leading to a court-martial for insubordination.
Later, it’s revealed that Kabir survived as it was his beloved clone, Eklavya, who died. Kabir, grief-stricken and embittered, harbored a thirst for revenge.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan ending: What was Kabir’s master plan?
In the present, Kabir discloses his evil master plan for revenge. He already cloned Azad and killed the real one and flees by kidnapping Priya. Freddy and Rocky defeats Kabir’s henchmen and makes it back to base. There, they reveal Kabir’s sinister plan to the rest of the army. Kabir plans to turn Pakistan and China against India by deactivating the Karan Kavach and launching airstrikes, ruining India’s global reputation.
Freddy, Rocky, Misha, and Pam infiltrate Kabir’s stronghold, where Pam extracts the password from Priya’s memory. Amidst fierce battles, they confront their own clones. However, they are not able to defeat them as they perpetually regenerate due to internal power sources. Pam proposes using a high-voltage power grid to neutralize them, leading to their demise.
As Kabir initiates the airstrikes, Freddy and Rocky engage in a final showdown, ultimately impaling Kabir with a spear. Despite failed attempts at accessing the password, Priya awakens and suggests “Eklavya,” Kabir’s clone’s name, which successfully reactivates the Karan Kavach, preventing the airstrike and potential warfare.
The team regroups and departs the base. However Bade Miya Chote Miyan ends with final scene of Kabir opening his eyes. This scene teased audience that a sequel might be in the loop for this action thriller.
