Ajay Devgn’s Upcoming Movie Maidaan Runtime Revealed

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie Maidaan has been a subject of anticipation and excitement among fans ever since its trailer hit the screens. Now, with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granting a U/A certificate to the film without any cuts, the buzz around the movie has intensified. Furthermore, the revelation of the movie’s runtime adds another aspect of intrigue to this much-awaited movie.

Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan passed by CBFC with zero cuts

According to a recent report, Maidaan received the U/A certificate from the CBFC. It translates to the film’s content being suitable for a wide audience. However, what stands out is that the film didn’t require any cuts. In these recent times of meticulous censorship, such certifications are rare to come across.

The only stipulation made by the CBFC was the inclusion of a disclaimer. It is to emphasize that the film is a work of fiction inspired by real events, with certain elements dramatized for cinematic effect.

Speaking of clarity, the CBFC also mandated the insertion of an anti-smoking ticker during scenes depicting characters smoking. After all, it is an important step towards promoting responsible cinema. Additionally, the requirement to include end credits in Hindi reflects the film’s homage to its cultural roots.

Now, speaking about the runtime, Maidaan promises to be an immersive experience, spanning 3 hours, 1 minute, and 30 seconds. This extensive runtime suggests a deep dive into the plot intricacies and ample room for character development.

Maidaan is a tribute to the legendary Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Set against the backdrop of 1952-1962, the film chronicles Rahim’s journey as he revolutionizes the Indian football scene. Leading the cast is Ajay Devgn, and joining him are acclaimed actors Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and others.

So brace yourselves, as the film is gearing up to release on April 10, 2024.
