Kareena Kapoor‘s latest movie, Crew, is winning hearts all over and has become the first-ever female-led Bollywood movie to cross $8 million at the box office. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, it also stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles. The ensemble cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, and Rajesh Sharma, among others. Rhea Kapoor’s AKFCN Pvt Ltd and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures produced the movie. Crew had its theatrical release on March 29, 2024.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, one of Bollywood’s highest-paid actresses, played the role of Jasmine Rana in Crew. According to reports, the actress collected a staggering fee of $1 million (approx.) for starring in the heist movie.
Crew marks her second women-centric project after her acclaimed performance in the 2018 movie Veere Di Wedding. She starred alongside Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Shikha Talsania, and Swara Bhaskar in the Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor directorial.
As for Kriti Sanon, she reportedly charged a fee ranging from Rs $359k – 479k (approx.) for her role in the film. She plays the role of Divya Rana, a crew member who lies to her parents and claims to be a pilot. Before this, the actress appeared alongside Shahid Kapoor in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. She even collected the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mimi.
Similarly, Tabu also reportedly charged a fee ranging from $359k – 479k (approx.) for playing the role of Geeta in Crew. She last appeared in the action thriller Bholaa alongside Ajay Devgn. Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma, whose appearances were highly anticipated, reportedly charged $359k (approx.) and $59k (approx.) for starring in the film.
