Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda is returning to the silver screen with his upcoming film Family Star. The anticipation among the viewers for the movie is sky-high. This is because Deverakonda’s previous two outings did not meet expectations. Hence, all eyes are now on the forthcoming release. However, it seems that the makers are struggling to complete the film on time.
According to a report by OTTplay, the crew of Family Star is facing a significant delay in its post-production process. The shooting of this Parasuram directorial took time to wrap up, and the post-production is still incomplete.
Music director Gopi Sundar is yet to finalize the film’s background score and is rigorously working on it. Moreover, the movie’s digital intermediate process and dubbing works are allegedly incomplete. The team has been working round the clock to complete the film soon.
The report also confirmed that producer Dil Raju is upset with the delay. He often presents a copy of the film to his inner circle a week before its release for suggestions. However, the producer has not received the first copy so far.
Family Star release date
Earlier, several reports of Family Star’s delay were making rounds in the community. At that time, the makers were determined to release the movie as scheduled. Now, the film’s promotions have begun in full swing despite the pending work.
As per the film trailer, the plot of Family Star revolves around a typical family man, played by Vijay Deverakonda. Nevertheless, he is always ready to go the extra mile for his family and is also ready to fight goons. Among notable members of the cast, Mrunal Thakur is playing his love interest in the film.
Family Star will hit the theaters on April 5, 2024. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the movie’s streaming rights. Family Star will arrive on the OTT platform in the first week of May 2024.
