After Sardar Udham Singh, Shoojit Sircar is gearing up for his next project starring Abhishek Bachchan. The actor will play a father figure in the movie. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under Rising Sun Films Pvt. Ltd and Kino Works LLP; the film will also star Johnny Lever, Ahilya Bamroo, and Jayant Kriplani.
The movie, whose title is yet to be revealed, promises to compel viewers with the true value of life’s fleeting moments and the importance of learning to cherish them. Abhishek Bachchan to star as a father in Shoojit Sircar directorial
On March 21, the makers released the first look of the movie. They captioned the post with, “Shoojit Sircar’s next is a heartwarming tale about ‘celebration of life’ in its everyday ordinary chaos! It is an emotional journey with an entertaining narrative. It’s about a father and daughter who rekindle their precious bond while navigating life’s challenges.”
Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar had recently announced that he cast Abhishek Bachchan for his next project. The clip opened with snippets from his other films, like Piku (2015), Pink (2016), and others from his career of 20 years. It also featured Abhishek Bachchan.
In a recent interview, Shoojit Sircar shared that the upcoming movie draws inspiration from his friend’s life. He said it is no longer a secret that the team is shooting after a long time. “The idea was to shoot and announce the film when the time was right.”
