Arun Vijay’s latest movie, Mission Chapter 1, hit theaters on January 12, 2024. The film, directed by A.L. Vijay, boasts a stellar cast that includes Arun Vijay, Amy Jackson, Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hassan, and others in prominent roles.
The story grows with the introduction of Omar Quadri, a Pakistani terrorist planning a mission known as Mission Dusshera to stage explosions across Indian cities during the G20 summit. Simultaneously, Guna, a dedicated police jailer, discovers Omar’s teammate, Basheer, attempting to escape from Coimbatore Central Jail.
Unwavering in his commitment to justice, Guna thwarts Basheer’s escape attempts and dismisses Omar’s desperate pleas for release. However, tragedy strikes when a bomb blast staged by Omar takes the lives of Guna’s wife and injures his daughter. Prompted by grief and a thirst for retaliation, Guna decides to confront Omar and wants revenge.
Despite losing his job, Guna spares no effort in securing funds for Sana’s urgent medical treatment in London. In a desperate struggle to retain the funds, Guna unwittingly clashes with the police, leading to his unjust incarceration in Wandsworth prison. He emotionally appeals to fellow Tamilian jailer Sandra but gets ignored because of Thomas’s deceitful actions.
Mission Chapter 1 ending: Was Guna able to stop the prison break?
As Guna finds himself trapped within the confines of prison, he confronts a new threat: Omar’s audacious plan to escape. Initially tempted to seize the opportunity for his escape and save his daughter, Sana, Guna resolves to thwart Omar’s nefarious scheme upon realizing the extent of the danger posed by the terrorist.
Teaming up with jailer Sandra, Guna uncovers Omar’s intricate escape plan, which involves tunneling through the prison’s pipelines. However, Omar’s ruthless pursuit of Sana persists, ending in a brutal confrontation where Guna is forced to strike a difficult deal to secure his daughter’s release. Yet, placing trust in Omar’s word proves to be a fatal error, as the terrorist’s men ensnare Sana once more, threatening her life.
Fearlessly, Guna faces Omar, fiercely battles to protect his daughter, and emerges victorious. He finally stopped the prison break and rescued his daughter. In the aftermath of Mission Chapter 1, the police officer who helped Omar escape is arrested. On the other hand, the British government covers the cost of Sana’s critical brain surgery in order to prevent the prison break.
