Prasanth Varma directed HanuMan, while Primeshow Entertainment bankrolled it. Furthermore, it is the first film of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe. The film’s official synopsis reads, “In a small village, Hanumanthu, a petty thief, finds a mysterious gem, that gives him god-like powers. Will he succeed in keeping these powers from falling into the wrong hands and save his village?”
Apart from Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Vennela Kishore, and others played pivotal roles in the film.
