Pankaj Tripathi’s latest mystery thriller, Murder Mubarak, is a classic whodunit with a crime waiting to be solved. Directed by Homi Adajania, the movie is based on the novel Club You To Death by Anuja Chauhan. Dinesh Vijan produced it under Maddock Films. It boasts a star-studded cast of Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar, and Tara Alisha Berry. Murder Mubarak premiered on Netflix on March 15, 2024.
The movie revolves around the murder of a Zumba instructor and the following investigation involving the elite members of the Royal Delhi Club. As the investigation progresses, more murders start occurring, making the process even more complicated.

Murder Mubarak ending: Who did ACP Bhavani Singh arrest?
During Murder Mubarak, ACP Bhavani Singh called everyone to the Royal Delhi Club and attempted to frame Yash for all three murders. He informed everyone that Yash used to secretly record videos of Bambi and even attempted suicide when he saw her with Akash. However, after Roshni lost her temper, ACP made up another theory implicating that Akash Dogra was the killer. He claimed that on Bambi’s and Anshul’s anniversary, Akash had left the party early but returned later in the night.
In the footage retrieved from Leo’s tablet, Akash’s car was seen parked at the Royal Delhi Club, and he was observed entering the property. Nonetheless, ACP Bhavani informed everyone that the CCTV footage from the night of the murder had been deleted, and the weapon used had disappeared. Consequently, when ACP Bhavani attempted to arrest Akash, Bambi intervened and mentioned that Yash had written a letter. However, ACP Bhavani chose to stick with his narrative and suggested that Akash might have written the letter and left it in the bathtub where Yash was found.
Who killed Leo Matthews?
In reality, the ACP already knew the identity of the murderer and was just fabricating stories to force the culprit to confess. He knew that accusing Yash would enrage his mother, and framing Akash would eventually force the killer to reveal themselves. As Akash was being taken to the police station, Bambi admitted that she had killed her husband. Allegedly, Leo had learned from Guppie that Anshul’s skeleton had been buried in the kitchen garden, which led Bambi to kill him.
Later, she also killed Guppie, as he was the last remaining witness. Bambi was smart enough to realize that she needed to frame someone for the murders to safeguard herself and Akash. So, she murdered Yash and left a suicide note near his body. However, Yash survived but later slipped into a coma due to his drug overdose. Ultimately, Bambi surrendered herself and accepted her defeat.
Why did Bambi kill Anshul?
At the end of Murder Mubarak, ACP Bhavani finally arrested the murderer, Bambi. However, what intrigued him was how Bambi already knew that Anshul didn’t love her and was cheating on her. But, she considered her marriage perfect because, for her, love wasn’t necessary for a successful marriage.
She had told Anshul that he could do whatever he wanted as long as he pretended they shared a flawless marriage. However, when Anshul told her about his love for Ganga, it enraged her, and she ended up hitting him with a sculpture. Despite loving Akash deeply, she did not confess her crimes until later. She only remained concerned about her social status and reputation. In the end, ACP Bhavani advised Akash not to take Bambi’s case but knew that Akash’s heart wouldn’t stop him from doing so.
