Tamil star Suriya’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya 43, is his most awaited one. The actor is reuniting with director Sudha Kongara after their 2020 film Soorarai Pottru. The upcoming movie will mark his 43rd project in his career and holds a special place in his fans’ hearts. Another discussion in the film circles is regarding the movie’s title. So far, the makers have confirmed that the title’s second half is ‘Puranooru.’
Several reports have claimed that the movie’s title is likely to be 1965 Puranooru. It is touted to be a political drama with out-and-out action sequences. Moreover, the old transistor radio, microphone, and other elements in the film’s promo hint that it is set between 1950 and 1965.
