The controversy between Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav and YouTuber Sagar Thakur (Maxtern) sparked significant online attention. Naturally, this has led to a widespread discussion on the topic and reactions from netizens.
After a dispute arose between them, Elvish and Sagar shared their stances on social media, leading to further trolling and reactions from netizens. The situation escalated to the point where they decided to meet at a shop in Gurgaon on March 8, 2024, at 12:30 a.m. IST, resulting in a controversial altercation.
Soon after learning about the brawl, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Manisha Rani unfollowed Elvish on social media. While netizens demanded the arrest of Elvish, actress Anjali Arora urged her followers to support Elvish Yadav amidst the controversy.
YouTuber Rajat Dalal took the initiative to resolve the feud between Elvish and Sagar by hosting a live stream with both parties. During the live stream, they announced that the issues had been resolved. Elvish stated that everything was fine, while Sagar clarified that there was a misunderstanding between them.
What happened between Elvish Yadav & Maxtern?
Elvish Yadav posted a video explaining his side of the story. He urged the audience not to judge based on one side. He claimed that Sagar had staged the meeting at the cloth shop, including setting up hidden cameras and microphones. Elvish also mentioned that Sagar had four people with him during the brawl while the people with him were trying to prevent the situation from escalating.
He further asked the audience if someone threatened to kill their family or mother, then how would they react. Elvish then said he would do the same. According to him, he had allegedly contacted Sagar multiple times to resolve the issue before Sagar filed an FIR against him the next day.
On the other hand, Sagar revealed that Elvish had openly issued death threats against him. He took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to express his side of the story. He wrote, “I was brutally attacked and assaulted by @ElvishYadav, who openly issued death threats to me. All the evidence is available on the internet. But, When I went to the police station to file an FIR, the SHO lodged it under IPC 147, 149, 323, and 506. Unfortunately, these are bailable sections, and despite clear evidence of an attempt to murder, no non-bailable charges were included.”
Sagar further stated, “Why haven’t murder charges been included in the FIR? Is this due to the influence of money and support from the state government? Is the Haryana government potentially protecting a criminal? I request @DC_Gurugram @gurgaonpolice @anilvijminister @mlkhattar to register an FIR against Elvish with a non-bailable section for attempt to murder and #ArrestElvishYadav. If anything unfortunate happens to me in the future, Elvish Yadav should be held accountable.”

They also went live together to further clarify the altercations. During the live stream, Sagar said, “There was a miscommunication, someone had tried to instigate me against Elvish Bhai. I don’t want to take that person’s name here, but I have told everything to Elvish bhai.”
Elvish added, “All of this was done, especially the camera, and all because of someone. We don’t want to take his name but finally, things are resolved. Everything is clear from my end. There won’t be a problem for you from my end. Hum kaunse ladte pitte ghumte hai bhai, hum bhi sahi se rehte hai.”
Initially, the controversy caused tension between Elvish Yadav and Maxtern. However, it seems that they have resolved their differences and are now on good terms.
