Ajay Devgn‘s highly-anticipated musical love story, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, will now reportedly compete with Kartik Aaryan‘s Chandu Champion at the box office.
Neeraj Pandey is directing the Ajay Devgan starrer, which is said to span across 20 years, taking place between 2002 and 2023. The makers plan to release it in multiple languages. It will also star Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari. Furthermore, the movie was announced in December 2023 by the director.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha may release in June 2024
Ajay Devgn has an impressive lineup of six films scheduled for release this year. While the releases of Shaitaan and Maidaan are scheduled for March and April, they have pushed the release of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
Initially slated for release on April 26, 2024, now the makers have postponed the movie to June 2024 to ensure a sufficient gap between the releases of Maidaan and the upcoming romantic thriller. As per reports, Ajay Devgn and the makers are deliberating between two potential release dates, June 14 and June 21.
Reportedly, both Ajay Devgn and producer Kumar Mangat are leaning towards June 14, in order to target the Bakri Eid period. As per sources, the move aims to capitalize on the festive season. They revealed, “June 14 and June 21 are the two dates in contention wherein both Ajay and Kumar Mangat believe that the film should come on June 14 to take benefit of Bakri Eid period from June 18, giving the romantic thriller long trend at box office. An official announcement is round the corner.”
However, Sajid Nadiadwala has already booked June 14, 2024, for Chandu Champion. So, the two movies may potentially clash during the Bakri Eid period. Kabir Khan directs Kartik Aaryan’s sports drama. Furthermore, it also stars Katrina Kaif, Shraddha Kapoor, Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, Adonis Kapsalis, David Chrisman, and Ritchi Edwards.
