After the success of Special Ops 1.5, director Neeraj Pandey is gearing up for yet another season of the show, Special Ops 2.0.
Special Ops was directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair. It stars Kay Kay Menon, Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Vipul Gupta, and Sajjad Delafrooz, among others. Pandey’s Friday Storytellers produced the series. Disney+ Hotstar released the espionage thriller on March 17, 2020. Later, they transformed it into a franchise, releasing the second installment, Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, on November 12, 2021.
In a recent interview, Neeraj Pandey shared an update on Special Ops 2.0 and his other pipeline projects.

Special Ops 2.0 will be ‘bigger and better’
In his interview, Neeraj Pandey talked about Special Ops 2.0. He said, “It’s in post (production) right now. We are going to complete the post in the next 3 or 4 months. The shoot is complete. It has been shot all over the world. Right from Budapest to Turkey to Georgia and three other places. It is bigger and hopefully better.”
When asked about the possibility of Special Ops 3.0, the director said, “I don’t know. Let 2 come out. We’ll have a feedback from you people and all that and if the audiences encourage us to make another one then why not!”. He also talked about how his latest series, Freelancer, has been loved by all. He said, “Freelancer, we are thinking something”.
Coming to his theatrical projects, Neeraj Pandey is gearing up for the release of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, in June 2024. He also hinted that they will soon share the teaser and trailer announcing the movie’s release. As for Crack, the director is planning to work with Akshay Kumar.
