Varun Tej’s latest aerial action drama, Operation Valentine, is still a few days away from its release. However, the buzz around the movie is massive as it marks the actor’s debut in Hindi cinema. Moreover, Chiranjeevi recently increased fans’ anticipation by sharing his movie review. He lauded the movie for being patriotic and mentioned how it must do well at the box office.
Chiranjeevi attended the movie’s pre-release event on February 25, 2024, in Hyderabad. Varun Tej specially invited the actor as he revealed the same on stage. According to 123telugu.com, the actor said, “Varun Tej requested me to attend this event, which highlights the sacrifices made by our real-life heroes. I said yes without even thinking for a minute. They told me that the film is about the Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred. Operation Valentine is about the retaliation done by our Indian Air Force as a tribute to those soldiers.”
Chiranjeevi says movies like Operation Valentine should do well
During the event, Chiranjeevi praised Operation Valentine’s director, Shakti Pratap Singh, for focusing on the incident. The actor mentioned that the director earlier made a short film on the aerial surgical strike that surprised many. He added, “Shakti Pratap Singh did immense research for Operation Valentine, and he met so many Indian Air Force officers to get authorized information.”
“Movies like Operation Valentine should do well, and they evoke patriotism in our hearts. Youth should watch films like these. This movie was shot in 75 days and within a reasonable budget. I feel Shakti Pratap Singh will inspire Tollywood directors,” Chiranjeevi further said.
Operation Valentine also stars Manushi Chhillar as the leading lady playing the role of a radar controller. It is the first aerial action movie in Telugu cinema that is backed by Sony Pictures and Renaissance Pictures. The movie is releasing on March 1, 2024.
