Shark Tank India has become the buzz of the town due to its impressive pitches. In episode 23, Suraj Pusarla, founder of The Rage Room, presented his idea before the shark panel, including sharks Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal. As per the founder, The Rage Room is an anger management solution that helps individuals to reduce anger gradually.
Suraj, hailing from Hyderabad, established The Rage Room in October 2022. The motive behind this rage room is to allow people to let out their anger and frustration in a secure and controlled environment, leaving them more relaxed and refreshed. In other words, it is a space designed for individuals to release their stress by destroying things in a controlled manner. For this unique idea, Suraj sought an investment of $24K (₹20 lakh) for 30 percent equity.
Before pitching the idea, Suraj demonstrated the concept by smashing the objects presented inside The Rage Room. Three Sharks, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, and Peyush Bansal, also participated in The Rage Room and smashed things. But, unfortunately, Suraj was unable to secure the deal. However, The Rage Room is currently available in Hyderabad only.
Shark Tank India Season 3: What Anupam Mittal said during the pitch?
At the beginning of the pitch, Suraj asked the sharks, “Aapko bhi aisa gussa aata hoga na? (You, too, must be feeling similarly angry, right?)”
Immediately, Anupam jovially said, “Jisko aata tha woh gaya. (The one who used to get angry is gone.)”
These words left other sharks laughing. However, this was a dig at Ashneer Grover.
For those unaware, Ashneer Grover was a judge on Shark Tank India 1. He is the co-founder and former managing director of BharatPe. As per reports, Shark Amit Jain, CEO of the Car Dekho, replaced Ashneer Grover in Shark Tank India Season 2. In the ongoing season, the panel has a total of 12 sharks.
Shark Tank India is currently streaming on SonyLIV.
