After the success of OMG 2, Yami Gautam is gearing up for the release of her new movie, Article 370.
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios. The movie also stars Priyamani and Kiran Karmarkar in a prominent role. It marks the second collaboration between Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam after the success of URI.
The movie’s narrative is set against the backdrop of the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The term confers to the power of the region to have a separate constitution, a state flag, and autonomy of internal administration. When the same is abrogated, all of the Indian Constitution would apply to the state. It is scheduled for release on February 23, 2024.

Article 370 will not have a premiere in Kashmir
During a recent interview, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar discussed the possibility of premiering their upcoming movie, Article 370, in Kashmir. Aditya Dhar mentioned that while they were discussing it, taking Yami’s current situation with her baby, they opted out of it and went for a more local approach.
He said, “Definitely, there was a discussion, but knowing where we are right now with the baby, we had to reduce a lot of traveling. That’s why we are doing this interview also via Zoom. Because of that we had to take the decision that keep it local only mostly so that it’s easier on Yami; otherwise, we would love to do that for sure.”
While Yami Gautam added, “You’re spot on. That was definitely one of the important discussions, but as someone has said, life is a box of chocolates. You never know which one you’re going to get. So we go with the flow, and we improvise.” She announced her pregnancy alongside her husband during the trailer launch event for Article 370.
