The month of February is indeed a good one for Tamil cinema, with several big releases. After Rajinikanth starrer Lal Salaam, Jayam Ravi’s Siren is set for its theatrical release. Only a few days are left for the movie’s release, and the buzz around it is massive. While fans wait to catch the film in theaters, details about its OTT rights are already out.
Jayam Ravi was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan film franchise. The actor played the key role of Arulmozhi Varmam in the period drama and amazed fans with his performance. Following the success of the film franchise, the actor has now taken the furious role of an ambulance driver turned criminal. Apart from Ravi, Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran are playing the leading ladies in the movie. Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Koushik Mahata, and more have been roped in to play supporting roles.

Siren OTT release details confirmed
Most Tamil movies make their OTT debut one or two months following their official release. However, its OTT rights are usually acquired by streaming platforms ahead of the film’s arrival in the theaters. As per a report by 123telugu.com, Siren’s OTT rights have been acquired by Disney Plus Hotstar. Moreover, the film’s satellite rights have been allegedly secured by Star Maa.
Siren’s plot allegedly revolves around Thilagan, an ambulance driver who is falsely accused and sentenced to life for murdering his wife, Jennifer, played by Anupama Parameswaran. When he comes out of prison after 14 years, he decides to avenge his wife’s death. The movie will see Jayam Ravi return to the action-crime drama genre. Watching the movie’s box office collection would be interesting.
