After a blockbuster theatrical run, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is finally geared up for its Hindi OTT debut. The film made its digital debut on Netflix in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and English languages. Recently, the popular OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar has confirmed that Salaar is coming soon in Hindi.
Salaar was released in December last year and has become one of the most successful movies of 2023. The movie has minted over $74 million in worldwide collection. Moreover, it has collected around $48.9 million in India’s net collection. This movie is considered Prabhas’ comeback after facing criticism for Adipurush. Aside from Prabhas, Salaar’s stellar cast includes Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Bobby Simha, and others.
Prashanth Neel, known for creating the KGF universe, offered another cinematic extravaganza to the viewers with Salaar. The movie is set against the backdrop of a place named Khansar (a dystopian state). The storyline follows the journey of two friends who turn into enemies due to circumstances.
The movie has intense fight sequences, terrifying violence, and bloodshed. These elements resulted in the Central Board of Film Certification granting an ‘A’ certificate to the film. With a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes, it has received a rating of 6.5/10 with around 58 thousand votes on IMDb.
Prabhas’ Salaar Hindi version soon to be available on Disney Plus Hotstar
Salaar has already generated a significant buzz among audiences with its digital debut on Netflix in multiple languages, except Hindi. However, recently, Disney Plus Hotstar announced that the movie will be available to stream in Hindi from February 16.
Aside from this, after the tremendous success of its first part, makers are now gearing up for its next installment, titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam.
