Shahid Kapoor’s highly anticipated sci-fi rom-com, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, has managed to garner a significant advance collection and is now gearing up to break box-office records.
Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah directed and wrote the movie. Maddock Films and Jio Studios produced it. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Rajesh Kumar, and Rakesh Bedi, among others. It had its theatrical release on February 9, 2024.

How much is Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya expected to earn on its opening day?
As per reports, on its opening day, this movie is expected to earn over $722 thousand in India. Furthermore, the movie witnessed an overall 10.30% Hindi occupancy on its opening day, with over 8.80% occupancy in the morning shows and 11.79% in the afternoon shows. Currently, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Pune hold the highest occupancy for the movie.
The movie reportedly garnered a total advance collection of $254 thousand in India. Furthermore, it sold an estimated 96,571 tickets across 10,093 shows. Maharashtra was one of the biggest markets for the Shahid Kapoor starrer, with a collection of $85 thousand. Meanwhile, delhi reportedly had an advance collection of $65 thousand, whereas Karnataka stood at $36 thousand. Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat tied at $35 thousand each.
Reports suggest that ticket sales will increase over the weekend, and the early estimates are subject to change. The sci-fi rom-com is also the only Hindi release this week, besides being a Valentine’s week release. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya got a 5-day head start at the box office before the release of Dakota Johnson’s highly-anticipated movie Madame Web. It is also expected to break records at the international box office.
