The sports drama Lal Salaam, originally slated for a Pongal release, is now gearing up for its premiere on February 9, 2024. The trailer launch comes as a timely treat for fans, intensifying the anticipation surrounding the film.
While the lead roles are essayed by Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal, the true X factor of Lal Salaam undoubtedly is the extended cameo by the one and only Tollywood superstar Rajinikanth.
In the trailer, Rajinikanth plays the character of Moideen Bhai, a figure working tirelessly to maintain peace among diverse communities. Moreover, the trailer hints at a story that delves into sensitive topics, such as religion, politics, and power play. As it is, the upcoming film promises to be more than a cricket drama.
On a similar note, Rajinikanth recently explained the meaning of the title Lal Salaam during the audio release event.
