Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for his movies Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. Last year, the director’s Animal with Ranbir Kapoor became the talk of the town. The movie received mixed reviews from the audience owing to its plot. While some liked the movie and praised Ranbir’s performance, others found it problematic. So far, the film industry is divided, with several celebrities reacting to the movie. The latest one is Ranveer Singh, as the director himself revealed how the actor praised him over a long phone call.
Animal follows the story of a young man who leaves no bounds in seeking the validation of his father. He soon turns into an anti-hero during his quest for vengeance against those who try to kill his father.
Ranbir Kapoor played the lead role, while Rashmika Mandana portrayed the leading lady. Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and others were seen in supporting roles.
Ranveer Singh reacted to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal: “He spoke to me for almost 40 minutes”
According to India Today, Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently interacted with Dainik Bhaskar and talked about Animal. During the conversation, he revealed how Ranveer Singh reacted to the film over a phone call. The director mentioned how Ranveer closely analyzed the film and thoroughly expressed how he enjoyed it.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, “I got the most overwhelming response from Ranveer Singh. I was in disbelief at the response from Ranveer. He spoke to me for almost 40 minutes on the phone, and he sent such a lengthy message that I had read three-four times.”
The director further continued, “I can’t explain how I felt after reading his message. I enjoyed his messages. He wrote a lot of things about ‘Animal’ that made me realize these things are also there in the film.”
Vanga has several movies lined up. While he is focusing on Animal’s sequel, titled Animal Park, he has also been working on Spirit with Prabhas.
