Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently on a roll and is releasing back-to-back movies. The actor, who was last seen in Bhola Shankar, is now working on his new film Vishwambhara. He has already joined the film’s schedule and is busy shooting. While very little is known about the movie, it was recently revealed that Trisha Krishnan has been roped in to play the leading lady.
Chiranjeevi was rigorously preparing for his new role in Vishwambhara. At the age of 68, the actor was hitting the gym and engaging in strength workouts. He has inspired many with his dedication to his craft. As a result, all eyes are on Vishwambhara as the movie seems to become grander with its star cast.
Trisha is the leading lady of Vishwambhara?
Trisha Krishnan has worked in several heavy-budget movies in the past few years. After Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus, the Ponniyin Selvan film franchise, the actress was seen sharing the screen space with Thalapathy Vijay in Leo. Now, Trisha has signed Vishwambhara with Chiranjeevi. She recently joined the film’s shoot and received a warm welcome from the megastar.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), Chiranjeevi shared a video of him welcoming his leading lady. In the clip, the actor could be seen giving Trisha a warm hug and beautiful flowers. Sharing the clip, he wrote, “Welcome on board The Gorgeous @trishtrashers.”
Trisha then took to her Instagram stories to share her excitement about the project. Moreover, she revealed how she would be working with Chiranjeevi after 18 years. The Ponniyin Selvan actress wrote, “What an honor to reunite with the one and only MEGASTAR after 18 years. Thank you so much for the warmest welcome Chiru sir.”
Mallidi Vassishta is directing the movie, while UV Creations is producing it. The makers of Vishwambhara recently locked January 10, 2025, as the film’s release date.
