Director Prasanth Varma recently gave India another fictional superhero with his latest film HanuMan. The movie was led by Teja Sajja, and it revolved around fantasy finely blended with Indian mythology. HanuMan has created a massive stir among the audience and has already minted millions at the box office. With every passing day, the movie is inching closer to reaching new milestones. While the director is basking in the film’s success, he is also focusing on its newly announced sequel, Jai Hanuman. The movie is currently in pre-production, and Varma has Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu in mind for key roles.
HanuMan follows the story of Hanumanthu, a young man from the fictional village of Anjanadri. During a turn of events, he gains the superpowers of Lord Hanuman and clashes with the man who is desperate to get his own powers. Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, and others played key roles in the movie. However, the cast of Jai Hanuman has not been revealed yet.
Prasanth Varma reveals his wish to cast these actors in Jai Hanuman
Prasanth Varma is seemingly looking forward to making Jai Hanuman a star-studded movie. Earlier this month, the director announced the sequel and began the pre-production process of the film. In a recent interview with greatandhra.com, the director revealed his ambitions for Jai Hanuman and mentioned that he wants to cast Mahesh Babu as Lord Ram and Chiranjeevi as Lord Hanuman.
Prasanth Varma said, “I personally want Mahesh Babu to play the role of Sri Ram. Just like others, we have also done some edits in our office to see Mahesh Babu as Sri Ram. But let’s see how it works out.” The director also mentioned how he envisioned Chiranjeevi as Hanuman in the movie.
The director further revealed that his plan is to make 12 superhero movies under Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
