Hrithik Roshan‘s latest aerial action-packed film, Fighter, has finally hit the big screens. Anticipation is high among the fans eagerly awaiting the first-day box office performance on its opening day. To add to the excitement, a trade analyst has predicted the Fighter’s first-day collection. According to him, Fighter will probably open below $4.81 million in gross worldwide box office collection. Aside from this, Sacnilk’s reports claim that the film might earn $3 million on its opening day.
Under the direction of Siddharth Anand, Fighter features Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Produced under the banner of Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film promises the first aerial action franchise. Moreover, it marks the first collaboration of Hrithik and Deepika on big screens.
With a patriotic storyline, the movie has connections to the Pulwama attack and the Balakot airstrike. Fighter was announced on January 10, 2021, but the film pre-production was hindered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fighter day 1 box office collection could earn over $3.2 million
With a budget of $30 million, the movie is released worldwide except in the Middle Eastern regions, such as Kuwait, Qatar, and others. Talking about its opening day collection, trade analyst Nishit Shaw predicted the collection on his X (formerly Twitter). As per his rough prediction, he tweeted, “#Fighter overseas shall try opening close to $1M.” He further predicted that India could do around $3.2 million to $3.6 million gross.
Shaw also added, “Very optimistic number for both because Friday is a holiday. However opening day worldwide gross will remain below ₹ 40 cr ($4.81 million) unless walkups are crazy.”
Aside from this, reports from Sacnilk claim that early estimates suggest that the film might earn $3 million on its opening day. Thus, it will be interesting to see how much Fighter can manage to earn at the box office by the end of its first day.
