Teja Sajja‘s latest superhero film, HanuMan, has created a massive stir among movie buffs. The actor is being widely praised for leading the mythological fantasy across the country. Several actors, filmmakers, and even politicians are lauding his portrayal of India’s new superhero. While the movie has been received so well, director Prasanth Varma is allegedly set to helm its sequel, Jai Hanuman. Moreover, the latest reports suggest that none other than Ram Charan will play Lord Ram in the sequel.
HanuMan follows the story of a young man from the imaginary village of Anjanadri who gains the power of Lord Hanuman. But he uses his powers to safeguard his village from the evil intentions of Michael.
Amritha Aiyer has portrayed the leading lady of the film, Meenakshi, and Hanumanthu’s love interest. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Vennela Kishore, and others have played supporting roles.
Ram Charan likely to join Jai Hanuman cast?
HanuMan is indeed having the time of its life at the box office. The film has already broken a few records and is aiming to garner more and more with time. As a result, Prasanth Varma is allegedly planning on making its sequel, Jai Hanuman. Moreover, his plans are a lot bigger for the sequel. As per Pinkvilla, the buzz around the movie says that Ram Charan is going to play Lord Ram in Jai Hanuman.
However, it is so far merely a rumor because no official announcement has been made. But, if reports are to be believed, Ram Charan’s involvement in the project would indeed make it bigger than before.
On the work front, Ram Charan has Shankar’s Game Changer in the pipeline. Kiara Advani is playing the leading lady in the film. Dil Raju and Shirish are bankrolling it. After RRR, the upcoming film is expected to be a mass entertainer for Ram Charan.
