Neeyat Ending: Who killed Ashish?
During Neeyat, Mira asked Jimmy, Ryan, Gigi, Zara, Noor, Ishaan, Lisa, and Sasha to gather in the library. She started off the meeting by accusing Jimmy of knocking her unconscious when she was going after Ashish, after which Ashish was found dead.
Jimmy admitted to knocking out Mira but said that he didn’t kill Ashish. Instead, he accused Ashish of killing Tahira. He revealed that he wanted to confront him once to get him to confess. But he wasn’t able to do that as Ashish was dead before he got to him.
Then Mira turned to Ryan next and accused him of trying to drop a chandelier on Ashish before the dinner. He confessed that he did that because he wanted Ashish to confess about killing Ryan’s mother. So, Mira collected Ryan’s scissors as evidence and then moved on to Gigi.
She revealed that Gigi was a former reporter at the Nation 24 news channel and was there just to get a scoop. She also revealed that Gigi was there to help Tanmay get away with Ashish’s briefcase in Ryan’s car. So, Gigi admitted to pretending to be in love with Ryan so she could get the truth out of Ashish.
Was Mira able to find the killer?
Later, Noor also confessed about her attempted poisoning of Ashish as he used to take away all the joys from her and Sanjay’s life. But she also admitted that she didn’t push Ashish to his death. On the other hand, Sasha was guilty of blackmailing Lisa for the tuition money that Ashish wasn’t lending her. She was also guilty of spying on Ashish for Raj Choudhary. Raj had helped Ashish escape from India after committing fraud and causing the deaths of eight people. But she claimed that she fell in love with him.
Mira then told everyone that Sanjay Suri was Tanmay’s killer as he needed the briefcase, but then Sanjay was killed by Kay. So when Mira stepped out to look for Kay, Zara tried to make a run for it with the briefcase of Ashish.
Towards the end of Neeyat, it is revealed that Ashish had not fallen to his death. He had used a trapdoor to get to the bottom of the cliff and pretended to be dead. There, he waited for Zara to get the briefcase, which would give him a fresh start while he remained dead in the eyes of the law.
Kay found out about the trapdoor and realized that Ashish was alive. So, Ashish got her to get the briefcase, due to which Kay killed Sanjay. However, Zara knocked her unconscious on her way out. She stuffed her in a secret closet in the library room, which led to her death.
When Zara tried to get to Ashish, Mira caught her and killed her. Later, when Ashish tried to do the same, Mira “accidentally” killed him, too, while keeping the briefcase to herself.
At the end of Neeyat, Mira Rao turned out to be not the real Mira Rao. She was actually an employee at Ashish’s AK Cyber and Devika Chellam’s girlfriend, who was one of the suicide victims. She and Devika Chellam were planning to start a new life, but when Devika went bankrupt, she took her own life. So, since Devika couldn’t make her dream a reality, the fake Mira Rao took it upon himself to take revenge.
