Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up to blow viewers’ minds with his upcoming film Ayalaan. The actor has joined hands with the ever-beautiful Rakul Preet Singh for this sci-fi thriller. Fans are elated to see Sivakarthikeyan getting back to the big screen and entertaining them. The actor did not leave any stone unturned in making the movie and seemingly poured his heart into it. As the movie is just a week away from its release, its runtime has been reportedly confirmed.
Ayalaan has been under production for several years. The movie was earlier set to hit the theaters on the occasion of Diwali, but the makers had to postpone it because of some pending CGI works. It was reported that Sivakarthikeyan was extremely patient and decided to forgo his remuneration.
What is Ayalaan’s runtime?
As per a report by 123telugu.com, Ayalaan’s runtime is 155 minutes, i.e. 2 hours 35 minutes. The movie is based on the story of an alien entity. Its promotional content has revealed the same along with the release of a few of its songs. However, many details about its plot are still under wraps.
The makers of the movie have confirmed that its most awaited trailer will be out on January 5. Ayalaan will hit the theaters in both Tamil and Telugu on January 12. It will face tough competition from Mahesh Babu’s heavy-budget film Guntur Kaaram and Teja Sajja’s Hanu Man. As a result, it would be interesting to see where Ayalaan will stand in the Sankranti special box office battle.
Sharad Kelkar, Bhanupriya, Isha Koppikar, and Yogi Babu are playing supporting characters in the film. R Ravi Kumar is helming the project, while Kotapadi J Rajesh is bankrolling the film under the KJR Studios banner.
