Salaar World Wide Collection Day 7: Prabhas’ Film Shows No Signs of Stopping

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire continues to dominate the box office since its release, achieving massive collections worldwide. As per latest reports, Prabhas’ film is on track to surpass $72.1 million in global earnings.

Released on December 22, 2023, Salaar features Prabhas in the lead role. He is supported by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles. The film unfolds the journey of two best friends in Khansaar, a fictional dystopian city.

Notably, Salaar has set a record for the earliest show in the history of Indian Cinema, with screenings at 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. IST. The movie has also received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This is due to the intense fight scenes, violence, and bloodshed seen in the movie.

Salaar box office: Prabhas’ film earns $72.1 million on day 7

Despite having a simultaneous release with Dunki, Prabhas’ Salaar continues its remarkable performance at the box office. This started with an impressive $10.8 million, and now, the film is nearing the $72.1 million mark.

Furthermore, recent reports indicate that with limited competition in theaters, Salaar is poised to easily surpass the $72.1 million milestone. This will surely be a remarkable number in terms of its worldwide box office collections. Moreover, the film’s release in multiple languages contributes to its broad audience appeal.

On its seventh day in theaters, early estimates suggest Salaar earned around $1.6 million net in India, bringing the total domestic box office collection to $37.1 million net.

Following the massive success, Prabhas is preparing for his next release in the coming year. Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to hit theaters on January 12, 2024. Additionally, Prabhas is reportedly collaborating with director Maruthi for an upcoming film.
