The Netflix show Guns & Gulaabs is all set to return with another season. Despite mixed reviews, the show turned out to be a massive success. It featured an ensemble cast and a unique plot that kept the audience hooked till its last episode. While the show ended on a cliffhanger, the OTT giant recently announced Season 2.
Taking to its social media handles, the OTT platform Netflix announced Guns & Gulaabs Season 2 with a unique teaser. Made in its signature style, the clip revealed that the new season is coming soon. The caption read, “Khali haath nahi, Guns & Gulaabs ka naya season leke aaye hain (We did not come empty-handed. We have brought a new season of Guns & Gulaabs). GunsAndGulaabs Season 2 is coming only on Netflix!”
The teaser begins with the introduction of Rajkummar Rao as Paana Tipu and Dulquer Salmaan as Family Man Arjun. It then features Adarsh Gourav’s Jugnu and Gulshan Devaiah’s 2 Cut Atmaram. Several other silhouettes from Season 1 are then followed, which also feature late actor Satish Kaushik.
Guns & Gulaabs Season 2: Will Dulquer Salmaan and Rajkummar Rao return?
The latest teaser of Guns & Gulaabs Season 2 teased that Rajkummar Roy and Dulquer Salmaan will reprise their respective roles. The first season ended with Paana Tipu struggling in the van after getting shot. Chandralekha tries to get him to the hospital as soon as possible. On the other hand, Arjun’s wife learns about his extramarital affair and waits for him at their home. The aftermath of their lives was not explored in the first season.
On the other hand, in the last episode, it was revealed that 4 Cut Atmaram did not die. He grabs his knife in one of the last scenes of the show. As per the new teaser, it seems that Gulshan Devaiah will also reprise his role. The new season will also reveal what will happen to the Ganchi empire after Jugnu kills his father.
